A smile is a wonder
A smile creates life
A smile takes one moment, but it’s memory last a lifetime.
Here are some testimonials from the participants on the last smile event.
We’ve tried to translate them in English for your enjoyment:
Adriana ( email sent to the smile manager), Bucharest:
It was magnifier, wonderful and … I cannot find a proper word to describe this experience. We (The team Cismigiu 2) started easily by going into the University Passage ([link to image]) and the first smiles we gave brought back other smiles, so we started beautiful. Then we’ve gone to the Cismigiu Park, most of the time on the right side of the road, and Carmen and Geo were on the left side. Most of our offered smiles we’re repaid with smiles from the people, even if we were shy in the beginning. But along with the walking and the smiles we received back we took a great courage.
And with a lot of smiles and thank you we’ve hit the Cismigiu Park. Here we’ve split in two groups and smiles over smiles. Of course there were some sad faces and grinch people but just one smile received back was enough to wipe out every negative energy. And I’ve started to feel the need to jump of happiness and the children were so amazing because they were so happy when they received the smiles and they were so proud when we stick the paper smiles on their chests, like they were getting prizes. And the mothers were very pretty and they gave us back they beautiful smiles. And I liked most the women in their forties or fifties which were so serious in the beginning but then they smiled to me so beautiful and tanked me, … I cannot describe what I felt, just I can say my heart so popping out from my chest.
Boanca Ionut, Timisoara:
And in Timisoara was great also … We were a wonderful group of smiley people and made 1500 people to smile. Many of them congratulated us for what we’ve done and desired to join. We gave paper smiles until 6 PM. Hope next time we’ll be much more people. I think from now on, I will were always with me some post-its with smiles and when I will see someone sad I will bring the light to him/her. The photos from Timisoara are here:

Lavinia sent us on email and & Facebook, Bucharest:
I was genius Saturday at the campaign. I believe I will smile long time from now on, only thinking at how many people we made smile with us. It was an unique experience. Initially I was thinking that the paper smiles will finish quick, but I wasn’t that way. At 6 PM I still giving paper smiles at University. I was in the Team 1, but after a while we got lost one from the other. Cosmina, Luiza and myself wake up giving smiles in the Politehnica Campus and in Carrefour Orhideea.
It was unbelievable to see so many people sincerely smiling when they received the paper with the smile. I felt extraordinary well. Each person who smiled at us back gave us more and more courage and trust to give the next paper smile.
I just can wait for the next campaign.
I’m still smiling from Saturday day and night, I think in my sleep I still have a smile. It was super amazing to see tide people, or nervous people or sad people smiling sincere after they received the people of paper …
Bianka, Constanta:
Also in Constanta was beautiful. Even if the weather didn’t supported us, we gave sun rays. And people received them with their hearts opened, smiling back and talking with admiration about this project. I personally gave 170 paper smiles and many more on my face
I just can’t wait for the next LumeBuna campaign.
Zoe Radulescu, Targoviste:
In Targoviste, we gave 300 smiles yesterday. I don’t know how others felt, but the volunteers here were very happy. The same way felt many of the people who stopped near us to receive our smiles. It was amazing to see how sad faces, worried faces transform miraculously into happy faces. It was a great experience and we thank you for giving the opportunity to live it..
Teo, Bucharest:
Zambet … Smile … Sourire … No matter the language, we understand each other
Cale Victoriei wouldn’t be so beautiful if people would not smile. Nor Piata Universitatii, University … Bucurestiul. Today I rediscovered my city with my friends and with our smiles. The reactions were different: old women transmitted to me so many emotions with a simple “Thank you” and I’ve noticed they needed that smile, that happiness, that life feeling; the men were more serious; the teenagers enthusiastic; the people in the 300 bus station in Romana, curious. But the magic moment was when a man offered me a smile in English and he said: “This is for you” and smiled.
Special experience. I’ve celebrated the Saturday 5th December 2009, the only day in the all history with that date, in an original way. I will continue to give smiles. Thank you,
With smile,
Teo

Dragii mei!
Va imbratisez si va doresc o viata pozitiva!
