Why to offer a smile?

A smile is hope, a sincere sign, a moment of happiness shared with people around.

It is a small step for the person who is offering the smile and has a powerful impact on the receiver.
This is why we want to have a day specially for giving smiles.
On 15th May, starting from 2 P.M local time (on every city/country) we want to give smiles to every person we encounter.

We want to make people smile while walking on the streets.

Believing in our vision “A smile creates life”, our purpose if to make 1.000.000 people smile.
And we’re expecting you to be part of our adventure.
There are little things you need: 1 free hour , a pen or something to write, some paper and a strong desire to share your smile with the others.

If you want to test your energy and love for life, to give and offer smiles from your heart and your face and to discover how wonderful it is to receive a smile back, we welcome you to join our new campaign “A smile for you”, on the Saturday of 15th May.

The first three “A smile for you” campaigns were started in Romania, in July, September and December 2009.

During them, we made

people smile with us and share our enthusiasm and positive energy.

How will the campaign go?

In our National campaign in December 2009 we had more than 300 participants from over 20 cities from Romania.
Now we want to make it global: have an international smile day – 15th Mai.
This way, we’re expecting everyone from every country, city, town to join us, subscribe to our campaign and during the local time between 2 P.M to 3 P.M go to the desired location and give smiles to people around.

How to give/offer a smile?

On a piece of paper draw a smiley face and hand write (in english or in your own language): “A smile for you”

Offer this piece of paper, along with our own face smile to the people you’ll encounter during the smiley hour

When is the Smiley Day?

Saturday, 15h May 2010, in between 2 P.M till 3 P.M your local time
